It's been a while since we've been a Responsys customer, but they still keep sending me these emails, and I always chuckle when they do. Sometimes it's planned, sometimes it's unplanned......but to not only have your admin go down but also have customers email links not work.....that's just such a massive fail. I mean imagine just having sent an email to a few million customers, and if you are using their dynamic click through links, not having anyone be able to succesfully click through for several hours?
Seriously how can you design a system that disables clicks. Imagine if that happened to a major ad serving company regularly? Not a chance they would still be in business. I can only imagine how much money their clients lose......

Dear Customer,
We are currently experiencing a system issue with the Responsys application for your database on Interact 5. As we work to correct the issue, we have paused all campaign launches, data integration jobs and response data. All response data will continue to be collected and processed once the issue is corrected. Responsys hosted forms will not be available. Data submitted through non hosted forms using (GET) or (POST) will continue to be collected, and processed after the issue is resolved. Static clickthrough links and dynamic clickthrough links that do not have builtin call will continue to work during downtime. However, dynamic clickthrough links that have a builtin call in the URL will not work.
Launches and data integration will be restarted by Responsys once the issue has been corrected.
This issue is only affecting launches, data integration jobs and response data, you are still able to log into the application.
We are actively investigating this issue so that we may resolve as soon as possible.
